Grading Rubric Results Section Week 1 & Week 2 Cell Respiration Lab Refer frequently to the following documents in this lab manual: “Writing a Scientific Report”, the /r System of Citation in Biology” the sample lab report (“The effects of jumpamine N as well as this rubric. This will be due in lab the week after Week 2 and is worth 15 points Name: Point Earned value Value Title This was done last week Introduction You do not need to do this section Materials & Methods Results This was done last week. One titled Results section is written for all experiments Week 1 & Week 2 Start with one to two sentences reminding reader of the aim of 1 the experiment, what was measured in what organism& why Then write I -2 paragraphs that state the results of the experiments you performed Week 1 and Week 2. You must state the specific data (the actual numbers with their units of measurement) that show minimums, maximums and average rates for all of the experiments, referring to the related Table or Figure by number After the written results include the tables of all data for all3 experiments done Week 1 and Week 2 (all runs& averages). Tables should be numbered sequentially and placed in order by number. Each should have a unique title that explains what is in the table. You must produce your own tables not attach the ones from the lab manual. After the tables include graphs of the data you obtained Week 3 1 and Week 2. From the graphs printed out in lab make bar graph(s) comparing the average rates of respiration in the different conditions (for example temperature) and/or different You do not need to attach the graphs lab. Graphs are numbered sequentially as “Figure”s, placed in order by number and each should have a unique specific title that explains what is shown in the graph. These titles should reflect the independent (on X axis) and dependent on Y axis) variables (as in The effect of X on Y) DO NOT try to explain or interpret the significance of the results in this section (That belongs in Discussion) You do not need to do this section You do not need to do this section.
